Where mortals seldom go
Old Gods speak in riddles
Of things we should not know
Beyond the land of dreams
Past gates that few may pass
Undead souls teach secrets
The lore that ever lasts
Beyond the land of dreams
My elder name is known
And my knee has bowed
Before the blazing throne...

Mother MoonPain that runs in rivers
Fire ripping me apart
Stomach, cramping, churning
Dear God my racing heart!
Think my flesh is melting
This moonlight, how it burns!
Bones feel like they're breaking
For death I pray and yearn
Strength and freedom rising
How sweet the forests smell
Werewolf, standing, howling
Where my weak body fell
In the night I hear you
My careless, foolish prey
Walking in the moonlight
Such loving things you say
Silently I stalk you
Sweet lovers, you've no clue
Feel my hackles rising
The hunt will soon be through
I know that you can see me
I want to smell your fear
Piss yourselves my victims
And know that death is here
Growling, ripping, tearing
I paint the trees with blood
Body parts are flying
I love death's crimson flood!
Two loving hearts devoured
Fun ended all to soon
Think I'll sit a while
And howl at mother moon!

Unbreakable Love...Life and sun are waning
Nights beauty paints the sky
Stars like jewels sparkle
Full moon is rising high
Grief and sadness choke me
My broken heart a chain
When your world is empty
What comfort can remain?
And so to you I call
The doors are open wide
Come to me my darling
I must be by your side
Silver light reveals you
You glide on rolling mist
Bringing me salvation
With your beloved kiss
Once so frail and ashen
Your beauty blazes bright
Death it could not hold you
Behold the queen of night
In your arms I tremble
But soon all fear is lost
My love it knows no bounds
Whatever it may cost
So my darling take me
Pain in passion drowned
Blood and life both given
That heaven may be found...

Hope and broken dreamsLove it always beckons
Forever out of reach
Like the warm blue ocean
That laps the golden beach
There my soul it wanders
This shore of broken dreams
Living in the shadows
Of 'ifs' and 'might have been's'
Foolish heart stop wishing
Release me from this thirst
Of all the hurts and pains
Loneliness is the worst
To hear your voice I hunger
To see your face I yearn
Pain beyond enduring
My heart will you not learn?
How can I stop dreaming
Or learn to act my age
When this poetic spirit
Pours my heart upon the page
Grey gives way to sunshine
Hope lifts its dying head
I find a grain of comfort
In something that you've said
Sitting on the golden sand
I look out to the sea
rolling blue enchantment
Bids me "dream of what might be"

Heavens FirePerfect radiant beauty
Draped in soft sweet light
Enchanting and beguiling
With promise of delight
Tender is the moment
When lips at last do meet
The flame of passion's fire
Stirring up love's heat
Lost in land of rapture
Our fingers trace the way
Inner voices guiding
The way that lovers play
Comes the sweetest moaning
When silken folds are reached
Tides of pleasure building
As barriers are breached
Urgency now building
With every loving touch
Waves of Eros pounding
The pleasure seems to much
Sweet this nectar flowing
I need no other wine
Honey of an angel
Thank God who made you mine
Then the rising waters
Give in to deep desire
You and I both rising
To dance in heavens fire...

Romeo's BalladTears like cherry blossom
Keep falling in the wind
Undying love a chasm
Where grieving echoes sing
Mighty wings now broken
Bloody feathers in the sand
Love that went unspoken
Is it dying in my hands?
This world it could not know
Was not allowed to see
The work of Cupid's bow
Or what you mean to me
Love hidden in the darkness
How could it thrive and grow
Longing for sweet wholeness
How could we treat it so?
Love should not be secret
For the rose it needs the sun
How could we be complete
When we could not be one?
So bring my cup of sorrow
It must take me where it will
There will be no tomorrow
For my heart will soon be still...

Death... And lifeDEATH... AND LIFE
Gentle kiss of moonlight
That calls me from my grave
Sculpturing sweet shadows
That move like ocean waves
The serenade of owls
greets the burgeoning night
Swooping majestic flight
To bring the heart delight
Rats that leap and scurry
Freed from the cares of day
I thank the velvet blue
That calls us all to play
Then I hear you calling
With joy I make my way
Pretty flowers marking
The tomb in which you lay
Come then my beloved
Whose blood was finest wine
My gift of death bestowed
Given to make you mine
Rise up from your coffin
Nights music in your head
I'll still your trembling hand
There is no fear in death
In my arms find comfort
My world I'll share with you
King and queen of darkness
In this land of velvet blue...

Hope...The power of your touch
It moves my very soul
Nectar to my spirit
Your love enfolds my soul
In you such beauty shines
How can such glory be?
Lost in adoration
At last I find I'm free
Moving in sweet rapture
With touch and kiss we play
Passions song ascending
To crown the brightest day
In loves sacred garden
I drink your treasured wine
Taking you to heaven
And thanking God you're mine
Then flying with the stars
Our bodies merge as one
Life and soul and spirit
Bright shining as the sun
Then that tender moment
Neath passions waning wing
Where loves flower blossoms
And angels start to sing...

Seeing Red...SEEING RED
Softest billows flowing
That paint my mind with red
Sacred, wondrous rapture
I find within your bed
Dreams like ribbons drew me
Your window open wide
The sweet perfume of youth
Each called me to your side
Peacefully you slumbered
So innocent and pure
The beast within me rising,
It just could not endure
Your throat warm and pulsing
Like magic it enticed
My weakness I'll concede
The blood that gives me life
For you I spun a web
A dream of blissful love
In my arms I took you
Touch gentle as a dove
You in rapture moaning
My fangs sliced through your flesh
Crimson joy exploding
As on your life I fed
All to soon you're dying
Life hanging by a thread
But there's no way to stop
Not while I'm seeing red...

Acceptance...Sunbeams slowly dying
No sense in asking 'why?'
Darkness overwhelming
The stars fall from the sky
Life it holds no meaning
Heart and soul both aching
Hope? I watch her dying
As my world is breaking
Memories they linger
longing mixed with pain
Through times endless river
They always will remain
When the wounds have healed
The sun, I know will shine
And life it will go on
Though you're no longer mine
Then I will remember
The good times, not the bad
Eyes fixed on the future
The past wont make me sad
So journey on my darling
Find love and happiness
In life's wondrous journey
I too will find my solace
See the dawn is breaking
And hope she rises too
New shores and beginnings
And doors to walk on through
But I will still look back
Eyes filled with silver dew
And thank the tides of fate
That I shared love with you...

Truth...In this haunted palace
The air is rank and foul
Every hanging portrait
Holds a menacing scowl
Dust a deep grey carpet
The windows thick with mold
Of this brooding evil
A thousand tales are told
Godless and foreboding
This rotting structure stands
Fighting time with venom
Vile stain upon the land
Trapped within these walls
I've cried so many tears
Born into this horror
Cursed through all my years
No arms ever held me
Fed on the milk of hate
Lonely, lost and fearful
No life beyond these gates
Just one room forbidden
I stand before its door
Here may lie the secret
Of vaguely hinted lore
Slowly turn the handle
Heart beating very fast
Will my disobedience
Cause death to come at last?
The door it creaks and moans
My candle lights the gloom
I see a subtle movement
What presence brings my doom?
Brave, I step towards it
A monstrous, shambling thing
Crawling death and maggots
Of hell its looks do sing
Bile and vomit rising
Yet still I will not flee
Truth alone may free me

A Samhain Wish...Beneath this silver moon
I kneel and make a wish
To hold you in my arms
And steal a tender kiss
Heart, I fight no longer
I follow where you lead
Maybe in the giving
From hurt I will be freed
Mother moon grant favor
Let two hearts beat as one
Loneliness please vanquish
Neath light of moon and sun
Let words bleed together
Poetic hearts run free
Grant that in the joining
New hopes and dreams we see...

The FeatherThe world moved around me
And life just passed on by
No one spared a second glance
Or stopped to wonder why?
They saw so very little
They never looked within
As if the act of caring
Were a special type of sin
Perhaps this broken heart
Was never meant to heal
And that tide of loneliness
what I'm meant to feel
Sometimes though the burden
Well it just seemed all to much
And that final clasping hand
Perhaps a welcome touch
But then came my salvation
In the welcome land of sleep
A soft and gentle voice
That begged me not to weep
From the realm of heaven
A tender healing kiss
Tears that washed the pain away
Oh divine and loving bliss
Enfolded in an angels wings
I couldn't help but mend
Knowing on her love
I truly could depend
Was this just a dream?
A foolish flight of fancy?
A desperate hopeful longing
That echoes now so faintly?
Some I know would say
'by dreams you've been misled'
But they've not seen the feather
She left upon my bed...

A Poets TaleThunder rolls through heaven
And lightening falls like spears
Pain is heard in howling gales
Rain hides the flow of tears

This heart it softly rages
Howls against the loneliness
Yet wears a happy mask
To hide what it won't confess

Hurt in every lonely step
That cold and empty bed
Memories of better days
That echo in my head

Here the battered keyboard
That helps to keep me sane
Words that bleed with hurt
And yet the truth remains

Within this wounded heart
Love to give I've plenty
All around is beauty
Yet my world is empty

Thus the pilgrim poet
Found his haunting voice
The cost by world extracted
That did not give him cho

Heart SongLove it is a hunger
A powerful, burning need
Love it is a river
Born in a teardrops seed
Love it is a melody
That gives us wings to fly
Love it is a daydream
That's echoed in a sigh
Love it is a Prayer
That heals the hurting soul
Love it is a comfort
It's tender warmth enfolds
Love can raise and lift you
Love can break you down
Love can overwhelm you
So deep that you could drown
Love it has no reason
No logic and no sense
Love it is a marvel
What else is so immense?
Love can climb a mountain
And change a human heart
Love can cross an ocean
That keeps two hearts apart
Love it see's our beauty
And looks right through our flaws
Love if we just let it
Can open bolted doors
Love all things can conquer
For that's what love is for
Love if we just let it
Will show us heavens shore...

The Kiss...Sunlight slowly fading
Sets chained shadows free
Dusk her wings unfurling
Sings praise to what shall be

Moonbeams join in congress
And herald what is ours
Scarlet billows call me
They rouse me from this sleep
Death surrenders sweetly
Stone angels do not weep
I can hear them singing
My children of the night
Serenade enthralling
My wolves a sheer delight
Through the graveyard walking
I smile and bless the night
You, my love, are dreaming
Such raptures I incite
To your side unerring
Our love it draws me nigh
Life and death deferring
I kiss you with a sigh
Your dream deftly shaping
I swear you'll feel no pain
Mortal life though leaving
Our love, it shall remain
Scarlet life is flowing

At Last...On summers wings doth heaven rise
And banish dread despair
Sweet succor in the dawns reprise
That brings faint heart repair
Purest blue the welcome herald
Burnished by that princely orb
Winters grip at last annulled
Come golden kiss, let me absorb
See, the hand of God is painting
The rainbow is his brush
An end to endless waiting
How awesome is this rush
Joy and colors bursting
My soul at last is free

And stars no longer shine

Memories shall linger

And pay no heed to time

Your smile left me breathless

Your face, I see it still

That 'accidental' touch

That gave me such a thrill
